Thank you for visiting my website – I hope students, parents, and other visitors will find it helpful. I am currently the academic director at Shenyang Transformation International School in Shenyang, China.
I first came to East Asia in 2009 to pursue my passion for international education. For three years, I served as the Head Instructor of the Chae Language Institute in South Korea. Wanting to improve my pedagogical skills, I returned to the United States to pursue a Masters of Science in Education at the University of Pennsylvania. I specialized in intercultural education.
After completing my degree, I served as the Director of Studies for an ACT-GAC Center and as the Director of Teachers at Northeast Yucai School, both in Shenyang. I later was one of the founding headmasters of the Huebschmann Zhan School in Shenyang, where I work today. I am also a PhD student at University College London where my research focuses on the experience of early Chinese students who studied in the United States.
Please feel free to look around and drop me a note — I would be delighted to hear from you!
